Been quite a while...some additions have been made, now have a Challenge S so I have 3 "indy" chassis and another Indigo2 as well, this one has more ram but otherwise isn't as great. It came with an old beige SGI alps keyboard so I was actually really happy with the purchase, cost me about $30 total which was amazing considering how heavy they are.
Started collecting old macs as well, originally got a Centris 660AV and have 36MB in it now, run it with an external 9GB sun drive which is excellent. I finally bought some caddies for the cd-rom and installed 8.0 then updated to 8.1, networking works a lot better in it than 7.5, at least it lets me use my supernetted network. My performa 630 I bought for shipping works great too, stuck in an old 17GB maxtor drive and it runs nicely even for only having 16MB ram, has a normal cd-rom which is nice but does not have ethernet so no fun mac networking for now.
I've ventured into Sun's territory as well, don't have a keyboard or mouse but I have a sparcstation20 in my inventory, my friend said it's a 75MHz SuperSparc II so I'll be able to load up the copy of NextStep that I have, AWESOME. I really can't wait, he loves running it on his so I really want to load it up.
One thing that was really fun /sarcasm/ was pulling out my electronics rack from the garage and cleaning it out. Turned out that the fascia on it was too close to the mounts so I had to rip one of the sides off in order to stick any gear in it, how goofy is that. Loaded up my Extreme switches in it (1, 48, 4, 48i in order) then recently got an HP 4000m and put that in the bottom so it is entirely filled up now, have to get a real rack sometime as they run quite hot since it's meant for front-back air flow and not side-to-side like the extremes are set up for. I'm good for quite a bit of expansion now, having 192 copper ports on that rack and all haha. :D

So this is your blog (I know you from Nekochan). I found it while searching for Intellistation 275... I just bought a 9114-275 myself. It's a pretty good deal, but overall, it took a huge chunk out of my monthly allowance.
Hi. My friend found your website, because of the link to HRGeeks. We can't figure out how we know you, and are scratching our heads because... well, you're computer collection and interest is very eclectic and elaborate.
I was a large SGI fan, and had given away a few Challenge XLs in Virginia Beach, as well as a bunch of other equipment. If you get a chance, hit up #proto on irc.757.org. Still have some SGI stuff myself, and am putting back online an archive of software for vintage systems. Am collecting systems for a vintage computing display to be done at HOPE 2010 and Shmoocon 2010. Probably purchasing an IMSAI 8080 from a local, and the Atari ST stuff should be arriving tomorrow. Supposed to be getting AIX and Sparc based laptops, with the holdout being the HP-UX one.
We should talk :-) (telmnstr on #proto on irc.757.org)
